Current Status: Strategic Setup

🇨🇦🇸🇰 The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic has been established.

The Chamber's founding was announced on 10 June 2026 by Her Excellency Karen Mollica, Ambassador of Canada to the Slovak Republic, at the Canada Day reception in Bratislava — in the presence of Members of Parliament, Government representatives, business leaders, and prominent figures from academia, civil society, and the media.
Founded with the endorsement of the Embassy of Canada in Bratislava and registered as a civic association under Slovak law, the Chamber will serve as the primary institutional platform connecting Canadian and Slovak businesses — facilitating trade, investment, and long-term economic partnership between the two countries.
The Chamber's Board of Directors is chaired by Eduard Maták, with Peter Dostál serving as Vice-Chairman. The founding board brings together business leaders with deep ties to both Canada and Slovakia.
Canada and Slovakia share democratic values, a commitment to open markets, and a growing network of people and companies that bridge our two economies. The Chamber is here to give that network a voice, a structure, and the institutional framework it has long deserved.

We welcome Canadian companies active in Central Europe, Slovak companies with interest in the Canadian market, and all institutions that see value in deepening this bilateral relationship.
